The Krzyżtopór Castle is not unlike a calendar. It has as many windows as days of the year (363 – in a leap year; in normal years, one window was bricked up) as many rooms as weeks (54), as many ballrooms as months (12), as many towers as quarters (4) and as many entrances as weekdays. Most of the windows, rooms and entrances remain intact today.
