Kamienica Orsettich w Jarosławiu
The 16th century Orsetti tenant house (Rynek 4- at present the Museum), belonged to the Family, which arrived to Jarosław on the invitation of the owner of the city, Anna Ostrogska, from Italian Lucca. During winter time the Museum is open on Fridays from 10:00 AM to 03:30 PM. The tenant house was recognised as one of the most interesting Renaissance historic- architecture monuments in Poland. In the Museum visitors may get acquainted with the history of these lands and especially with bourgeois life and culture. Moreover, it is worth seeing, i.a. executioner swords used in the 17th and 18th century, 17th century town ledgers, documents confirming granting privileges (among them the privilege for Jarosław granted by the king John III Sobieski).
